The amendment of Ontario Regulation 230/08 include:

The Ontario Endangered Species List is a list of species of plants and animals that are at risk of disappearing from the province of Ontario, Canada. Species are classified into different categories based on their level of risk. The act establishes four categories of at-risk species: extirpated, endangered, threatened, and special concern. Extirpated species are those that no longer exist in Ontario but still exist elsewhere in the world. Endangered species are those that are at imminent risk of extinction. Threatened species are those that are likely to become endangered if no action is taken to protect them. Special concern are those that may become threatened or endangered due to factors such as habitat loss.
