Ontario Regulation 336/23, enacted under the Nursing Act, 1991, introduces amendments to Ontario Regulation 275/94, which governs the practice of registered nurses (RNs) in the province. This regulation establishes new standards for RNs, particularly concerning their authority to prescribe and dispense medications, as well as their responsibility to maintain a nurse-patient relationship.
