On October 25, 2023, the Government of Quebec enacted O.C. 1544-2023, a regulation under the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (chapter A-2.1). This regulation addresses the confidentiality policies that public bodies must follow when collecting personal information through technological means.
